You might find curious, that there is on century, or more precisely, one well-known historical period, which is less presented than others in this blog. Significantly less presented.

It’s the 18th century, which I use it in the sense of the long “18th century”, including the Regency or from a different perspective, the Napoleonic era, a.k a.the first two decades of the 19th century.

Of course there are other “missing” centuries of this blog, or should I say,  certain time periods are clearly much more overrepresented, than other, which is related to the not so easily definable “fact”, that certain time periods fit better to historical fiction than other.

Well, the truth is, that I like the 18th century (and the beginning of the 19th century) so much, that I’ve created a special website dedicated to this utterly exciting century of (mostly) European history.

Trapped in the 18th century

is the name of the site and as this blog here, it is focusing of course on history and fiction.
